In 2011, during the International Year of Forests, the Collaborative Partnership on Forests (CPF) – a partnership of 14 international organizations and secretariats – issued a series of press releases on 14 forest themes, from biodiversity, to women and gender, to the fight against hunger, providing a 360-degree perspective of the world’s forests.
